What's happening:

Microsoft Office versions 2602 and 2603 have introduced a significant performance regression that impacts Office.js based add-ins, including Active. This is a Microsoft platform issue, not an Active software issue.

Microsoft is currently rolling out version 2602 to all Monthly Enterprise Channel customers. You may begin to experience slower add-in performance if your organisation has received or is scheduled to receive this update.

What we're doing:

This issue is our core priority across the team, and every team member is engaged to address it.  We are persistently communicating with Microsoft and are urgently engaging with their product team to achieve a swift resolution.
We will keep you updated as we receive further information.

Recommended action:

If possible, defer upgrading to Office version 2602 or later until Microsoft releases a fix. If you have already updated, please contact your IT team about reverting to version 2512. See this help article for instructions
